What's This Building For?

Mystery Building Purposes Revealed

yup, they all got one.

Social Sciences Building: Where all the Psychology kids kick back. As for all you wanna-be crime-busters, there's the Criminal Justice Center, Law and Justice, Political Science, and a Pre-Law Advisory Office. And for all you culture kids, the SB as has the History Office, International Studies, School of Culture and Society, Sociology and Athropology. Some Gen-Ed's manage to sneak in here, too.

Science Complex: Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, and Physics students in the School of Science rock these halls. Although, Gen-Ed's get placed here randomly as well.

Forcina Hall: *Takes a deep breath* Houses the Academic and Career Enhancement program, Child Care Services, Counselor Education, Educational Administration and Secondary Education, Educational Opportunity Fund Program, Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education, IT Equipment Distribution Center, IT Instructional Technology Services, IT Media and Technology Support Service, Language and Communication Sciences, School of Education, Special Education, Speech, Language, and Hearing Center, Support for Teacher Education Programs, Tutoring and Academic Enhancement. *gasp*

Music Building: Duh. This is the home away from dorm away from home for Music majors of every ilk. Music Building Secrets: There are bathrooms and practice rooms on the 2nd floor and basement; none on the first. And it has a ghost.

Paul Loser: Pronounced: (Low-schzur), this is the reception center/nursing building. Admissions and the Board of Trustees hang out here too.

Business Building: Another dead giveaway.

Bliss Hall: Home to English, Gender Studies, Classical Studies, and Modern Languages; they crammed everyone in the corner building in the back. This is also home to the Language Lab down in yonder basement. Random Child Behavior Study Research Office, too.

Armstrong Hall: Engineering nerds will mostly be rockin' the Armstrong. This place also has Technological Studies, TIES Magazine, Project UPDATE, Children Designing and Engineering Project, High-Tech Workforce Excellence Grant, and a Center for Design and Inquiry (?).

Holman Hall: Art and Graphics kids, as well as Comp Sci students, live here till the wee hours of the night. Holman Secrets: Possesses an art gallery and a small dining hall next to it, usually open during the mid-day.

Kendall Hall: All the Communications students are here. Houses a TV studio on the main floor, radio station WTSR in the basement, a main auditorium, and black box theater. Beware getting lost in the basement, i.e. the "catacombs of Kendall".

Green Hall: All the pertinent offices you will ever need for anything academic related. And a friendly reminder, they don't do normal working 9-5 hours, these guys leave at 4pm every afternoon, if not earlier.

Brower Student Center: Your basics. Bookstore, Arcade, Pool Tables, Info Kiosk, Beer on tap, Coffee, Fast Food, Campus Life, CUB, SGA, and a Women's Center in the basement. Campus Life will be helpful if you want to get in touch with an organization; all their mailboxes are back there. Its hidden behind the flags on the high brick wall, 2nd floor.
